I head of someone fitting a Polo Tdi gearbox into a 6n 1.4 8v. What difference would this make, or would it make any atol?

Thats what I was asking?
Im concidering 15" subs now as I think it will fill the space and look better.

I've been told that Fli are good quality for not alot of money. Obviously they're not as good sound quality as the more expencive ones ... but like i said im not an audiophile and couldnt ...

Right guys thanks for the advice. I think it'll deffo be a ported box i'll go for because I'm not that much of an audiophile lol i just like my volume.
Next question is which subs, amp and headunit to choose.
I probably have a budget of around £400 but this could be increased if nessesary.

Everyone knows that Universal Backboxes universally fit nothing lol.
But it can be made to fit and it cheaper than a specific one just takes alot of work, thought, changing of bracket etc. If you search on ebay for Exhaust adaptor it should come up with a company called pipewerx who will make an ...

enclosed : totally sealed box
ported: box with a hole for the air to escape

right??

what sort of difference does it make?

So if it says the recommended enclosure for a seb is 1.5ft3 you would double it for putting two in?

Right so today i ripped out the rear seats ... nice and light lol. But im not really into my performance because as the end of the day its still a 1.4 and im still 17. I can wait till Im a little older to get a nice fast car.
But the plan was to build an enclosure to house two 12" subs.
Now does it ...

Im sure I've seen TT doorcards fitted to a 6n before. Has anyone done this/knows someone that has done this or knows how much of a job it is?

Im 17 ... got insured on a 1.4 polo on my own with www.quinn-direct.com for £1200 can pretty much guarantee you wont find anything cheaper and alot of young drivers agree.

Yea. Mine is the really dark grey ... but its still not close enough to black lol.
And its the sort of job that just takes time and effort no cash lol so ill give it a try definately ... and if it all goes wrong ill be looking for a 6n2 dash lol
