Re: What is this for? Polo 6N. Air filter pipe.

That should be the one. Usually available in a variety of places. Bear in mind anything used will almost certainly be going soft, or will have hardened up due to age and heat so new is ideally the best way If however your hose is ok, you’ll need the oil seperator itself which is an inexpensive part ...

Depends on your engine code. There’s a few versions

Do you know what yours is? (And what year)

Re: What is this for? Polo 6N. Air filter pipe.

If it’s being blown off, you’ve got excessive positive crankcase pressure. Possibly need a new oil separator on the back of the block

There arent that many mk2 owners around now. Some of us still browse around (those of us who have or have had this era of polo)

By all means post up, but it may take a while to get a reply on some things

Re: Gearboxes, gear oil, and levels

It’s a difficult one. The additives is what makes all the difference

I’m surprised after 30k you are noticing a notchy shift again. Usually a gearbox will happily do 60-70k without needing a change

Re: Gearboxes, gear oil, and levels

Take a look at Ravenol. They are one of the few oil producers that meet and exceed alot of the unique VAG standards

Re: Gearboxes, gear oil, and levels

It’s a tough one. Fuchs and Febi are significantly better than Mannol but they aren’t approved, they only meet the standard

Have a look on eBay - you can often get genuine on there for a fair bit less than the dealer

Use genuine oil, mannol is not good for gearbox oils

Re: Where to find Radio code?

If its the original radio, turning the ingnition on with the radio turned on should get it out of SAFE mode as the radio is paired to the car

Re: How to fix the 6N2 ABS Signal Outside Specifications Fault

Potentially yes, but tbh i am so insanely busy its hard to say when it would be.

If you could get it scanned, that would be helpful to confirm the issue
