The additional wires are the feed back to the woofers. If you follow the wiring, you can find the split and put a crossover in its place

They have sadly been discontinued

The part numbers were 6N0 615 611 and 6N0 615 612

You can get them on ebay though:

The Pela extractors are very good, but as you say, sometimes the hose is a little too large for the dipstick tube

a BNV to BMS swap should be fairly straightforward. They are almost identical blocks 8)

You must use VCDS to bleed the brakes on these if you want to be sure there is no air in the system.

My Edition 30 was running a Stage 2 map pushing around 400bhp on the stock DV. Of course, its a different engine, but very similar to the 1.8T

The latest stock DVs are very strong.

Theres some debate over whether removing the N249 is actually worthwhile. If its working, then leave it be. The turbo performs better with it connected, and the prespool up is faster than without due to the way the engine management works As for getting rid of the 007p, you are best to fit a brand n...

Clean the throttle body, change the fuel filter, change the air filter

Also change the coolant temp sensors

You can get a new chip from hickleys then just program the key

Where do you live? I have vag commander and can pull the pin :)

Get a Pioneer SPH-DA130

These have CarPlay, Bluetooth and DAB and are excellent compared to the factory choices

All warranty work carries a 2 year parts warranty - labour also included if it fails in that period.

Yes, the ABS sensors can fail

Unplug and replug the connections under the rear seat as sometimes they get a bit sensitive to sitting still

Yes you’ll need the quad lock to iso and the fakra aerial adapter plus the removal keys

It’s no longer available to order - the part number has been dropped. It’s possible your dealer can do a search to see if anyone has one on a dusty shelf somewhere. You’ll need the full part number including the B41

It clips into a trim underneath the windscreen and that part is probably intact
