I have just noticed that my mirrors have stopped working. Checked all the fuses and there al good. Anyone else had this? Cant understand why both have suddenly stopped working.
Any ideas??????

I think I need a new switch question is how hard is it to do yourself? I think my biggest problem is getting the door card off without breaking the thing.
Hey mate. The switch is a piece of p*** to change. just prize the hole unit out of the drivers door then un-clip the switch from the unit ...

i had a similar problem. turned out to be the regulator in the window. it stops the window when there is resistance. cost £60 mate.

Hey. I got a 2000 gti but its got high mileage. It would be ok but i drive it reasonably hard.
Thinking of rebuilding the engine+gearbox. Anyone had this done? If so how much was it and can anyone recommend a good place to get it done where they know these engines.
