when I go into reverse when the car is cold i.e in the morning or after work it goes in with no problems, when I've been driving about for a while and put it into reverse it grinds a bit, if i leave my foot on the clutch go back to neutral then reverse again it doesnt grind!! all other gears are fin...

that is a lush car, big respect for the effort put in. Good luck with the sale.

I think it's looks great as it is but if you really want to change something go for the blackroof, badgeless look bad IMO

yeah I think that is the case, go to your car and take a look! Not sure if you can hide it at all.

I too have a 3 door in black so have to say I love it!!

I had the exact same with 3rd and 4th whinning, I had my gearbox rebuilt and new clutch fitted for about £800. Sounds like I may have paid a bit much!! I had it done last November and so far so good.

Apologies if this has been asked a million times before but does anyone recommend any particular cleaning products/methods to remove water marks and general dirt from the cloth 1 seats?

I've been told my several sources that it should be checked every 6 months ... not that i do! ATS said they would check it for free and let me know if it needed doing, I suppose others will do the same.

I went from standard to shark but the reception sucked and i needed it for traffic reports when travelling to london so now have an s2000 one which looks ace and works!

can you please let me know which software to download and how to connect my GTi to a laptop please?

as much as i hate the adverts i used confused .com which does help as a good rough guide. they do lie as when i contacted Kwik Fit I had to go through the whole process again. and i did a quote direct with Kwik Fits webiste which differed slightly from the confused.com price!
