Yes I agree @SRGTD you do come across some poor salespeople but as you say there are also some good ones you come across.

Re: New edition 25 polo gti

I would just like to agree with @SRGTD (as you say @turbotrev another full reply as always) The dealer is talking absolute rubbish. There is unfortunately nothing planned in shape of a new Polo. If anything it’s a question of how long they keep production going. I think Euro 7 legislation is nearly ...

Heated Steering Wheel - quick question

Hi all. Hope you all had a good Christmas. Quick question but my 12yr old Nephew jumped into my car to take a look and straight away said “oh you’ve hit a heated steering wheel” No I don’t, I said but looking at the steering wheel closer I could see the heated steering wheel symbol on the haptic pad...

I love Manufacturer videos like this, that are staged (scripted) just makes me laugh but we do get some more shots of the car

Re: New edition 25 polo gti

Oh wow, that got me excited, special edition Polo GTI. Then I read article, very minor and not much externally to lust over... but then I saw steering wheels and seats (black/red) my fav. But back in reality.. its only really an option if you were already in market for a Polo and fancied different ...

Re: 5G semiconductors used by VW vulnerable to hacking

Thanks for the link. Well that is depressing, just seems we can’t escape cyber security these days. Is this another reflection of cost cutting? I seem to remember the whole chip crisis thing was that automakers bought the cheaper chips so when everyone was in lockdown and car makers dropped orders a...

Re: Any one ordered the new facelift GTI?

ok, not being very co-ordinated in single response today.

My spec also includes rear view camera

Yes price has increased again (that might have been 1 Dec rise) but my spec is now listed at £29,875 which is up about £750

Re: Any one ordered the new facelift GTI?

hi @Dannyyorks Just read your post again and here are my thoughts 1. As above my order to delivery was 5 months. Can depend on stock and Pan Roof may sometimes extend (no actual knowledge but seems a few people on here waited longer for cars with that option. Also check the country for Stock vehicle...

Re: Any one ordered the new facelift GTI?

hi @dannyyorks I have quickly scanned the last half dozen messages, so sorry if I have missed something. I appreciate there are a lot of variables when buying a car (price rises/price of new car/value of old car/planned expenses etc) but as SRGTD and Lancslad1985 have mentioned if you want to change...

Re: travel assist currently unavailable

I went into the Assist systems and turned off the Travel Assist. I just have the "basic" Adaptive Cruise Control and I am much happier. Its not as easy as a single button and I think you press a road sign on the display and can then de-activate the travel Assist part of Cruise Control. (It...

Hi @JH96

I’ve just done a quick Autotrader search and I think perhaps you saw the car before fully prepared and they are still to screw on an aerial to your car.

Re: End of the line ?

Just seen a very interesting article at the link below that was posted over on golfmk7.com forum regarding the proposed Euro7 emissions regulations and what that could mean for next generation petrol / diesel engines cars, including a next generation Polo. It seems that compliance with Euro7 emissi...
