I saw a mk2 polo turbo on porka last week, theres a video of him caining around with a mk3 G40 & Gt, it sounds frickin awesome, I think the blokes called it a "T40!" Class!!!

I think the vid originaly came from the pitsop developments forum, I will try & post a link but porka is down at the moment ...

what you say is true to a pint, Ive been in Mk2matts polo with the only major engine mods being twin webers & aftermarket derestricted exhaust manifold & str8 thru system he saw a increase from 55 standard to 75/6bhp on the rollers, on a percentage basis that is quite a fair hike I think for the ...

check ebay mate, inlet manifolds are available from £80 upwards. Yep setting up the twins will need a day at the rollers & re-jetting most likley but hey if you love your car that much & want to do it then go for it. The will need to be retuned twice a year to keep the fueling/idle running sweet ...

Get onto Eurocarparts mate, 40mm drop springs for reasonable money, I got mine from them & they are fine, either that or advertise on porka wanted section. bound to get someone, better than polluting your pure polo ...

but yes, you still need a inlet manifold for the 40's. Mine is by SORG, cost me 50 squid. advertise on club polo & porka & here & I'm sure you will find something! 8)

the carbs don't change, just the jetting. Like I said:

"The actual carbs are all the same units. the diference being the jets are diferent. get them re-jetted for a 1.1 & then tuned on a rolling road."

just buy the carbs & then get them set up for your car?!?

for carbs check E-bay, you should get a decent set for 100pounds, if you can't find any, pm me & I will sort you out the e-mail of the guy in Italy where I got mine.
