in the last wee ive had to change the reverse bulb twice and the heater control light (manual) and they keep blowing and im lost as to where to look to cure the problem

mine is a 00 havent a clue when it was sold as the tax book just says it was imported to ireland in 01
and i always like the look if the climatronic so if i could find a write off with a sunroof it would make it worth my while to travel over and get all the parts

fitting climatronic
for some unknown reason my gti has the crappy normal twist and turn heater controls and i would really like the climatronic set up but what would be involved to convert it over?

when ever i get the car back ill check the sticker in the boot and see what options the car came with and i may strip apart the mirrors to see if they have the motors for folding

going through a bit of a battle to get the car sorted as the gearbox went 2 days after i bought the car so its back in the garage but its like this

just with out the heater bit in the middle and it does turn to the folding position

funny thing is mine has the switch for folding the mirrors but its dosent seem to work and it was originaly a english car also 2 stubby mirrors
and £67 + vat isnt as bad as i though it would be seeing as kph clocks are around €250 off german ebay

anyone know where these can be got for the 6n2? ive spent many a hour on ebay and google and cant find the jap spec tail lights all i keep finding are the lexarse and LED ones
