i finally managed to crack my sat nav code lol

anyway, is there a way i can watch t on my sat nav unit or play dvds? Ive seen one with freeview!! how can i do this?

yeh i get about 260 is to the tank. Not as good as i expected, my subaru cost the same to fill up and used to do 220 to a tank with a semi hard right foot.

if you enter the code wrong 2 times it locks utnil you leave the system on for 1 hour. ITs not locked any more but the problem is that im still at square 1.

The unit is not in safe mode but is still asking me for the code which i dont have and VW generated the wrong code.

And there is no company ...

Im going mad!

My polo gti's built in sat nav system is asking me for the unlocking code as i had to jump start the car a few weeks ago. Ive lost the code that i had in my service book and have turned the house upside down looking for it.

Now, ive just been to VW and they had a go at it... it took ...

The car is hopeless. There's nothing 'GTI' about it. Its slower than my grans electric scooter, it handles about as good as Rascal van but not as good as a shopping trolley, and makes little chav boy racers wet their pants. ok so does that mean i have to go with the BBS split rim? How much am i loooking to pay for them? A mate of mine had them on his Golf and he paid about a grand, i dont wanna pay that much. Possibly i should go for a different set of rims?

Anyone know if i can get make my originla bbs wheels wider by attatching the front bit onto a deeper lip?

Looking for something that will improve throttle response and maybe add a few extra bhp. Which one should i go for? Do you guys have one?

I get a similar sort of high-pitched buzzing/whining sound at a similar point in the rev range too, around 2700-3100 revs. Really wierd, but it hasn't affected performance or fuel economy so I'm not too worried about it. Would be nice to track it down though!

probably not piston slap, piston slap sounds more like a bag of spanners around the engine bay.

FRom the description it sounds like it could be a wheel bearing? Or possibly the flywheel>

Could be piston slap which is quite expensive to repair, however no one would be able to say exactly what it is without hearing it. Could you get a sound clip of it?
