i am at juct 28 anyone wanna cruse up there together

1. does the wirring of the engine sound slow ?
2. does the dash lights alter any ie go dim on cranking?
3. have you checked the battery terminals are tight on the poles of the battery?
4. when cranking position this wiiring noise does it just come from behind the engine at the starter motor and is ...

i am going to bring vag com laptop with me so if anyone wants there cars scanning for the sum of £5 i will check all systems on car and reset. and if faults present will give advice

firstly it needs diagnostic computer pluged in

need the tailgate stripping down and hose reconected .
you might just wanna clean the wire counecters too use either wd40 or a contact cleaner
on the unlucky side you might need the termals replacing as they have a tendancy of breaking when they been corroded for a while and you my need a new boot ...

throttle body is on inlet manifold.
- remove plastic trim from top of rocker cover (4 5mm allen head bolts)
- remove air box think its a few 10mm bolts and lift off u will see the throttle ...

update:

was booked in at VW today, basically was told cant see any faults.
Must be my drivinig style, told them that used to regularly get 370miles to a tank on my other polo but they said the polo GT is fine.

you can just replace the rubber gasket between the light cluster and the body
will look up the part number when i get back to work on monday
