The other day in Belfast a short walk from where i work these wee bast**ds broke into my polo and completely wrecked it. The car was alarmed and there was a chain on it as well. So fortunatly they didn't steal her nor did they get anything cos they must have been spooked by a passer by.

Hey recently i put Philips bluevision bulbs and sidelights into my Polo and they certainly make a differnence.

Is there anyway at al to get both dipped and main bean operating at same time, cos you would think its a bloomin rally car , its lights up the whole road.

Well VW rang me at 4.00pm today and said that they have ordered the wrong part and now the dashboard is all in KM/h. Its really pissing me off now (sorry for language) but that is the 3rd time they have ordered a part and its been wrong one.

Belfast VW must employ monkeys in their workshop or ...

Col they said that the Dash isn't really that dear but they have to Calibrate it t all the gauges like oil , temp revs and speed.

I thought it would just be plug and play but its outta my hands, i'll just let them get on with it.

How much would converting from Green to blue / Red cost for my POlo?

Got the lights last night, goinna start on THursday when im off work, all the wires are already cut and looks easy enuff to get those babys in.

Agnews (Belfast VW DEalers) rang me today and said that the fault lies at the back of the dashboard and that they have to order me a new dashboard cluster that will cost £457.00 but since im signed with the AA and it was them that towed the car in, the AA are payin for it!

AS far as I am concerned I have found out more info than VW in Belfast know! They are not very good and wanted to replace the sensor - when me, the AA and possibly VW know that the sensor is working perfectly.

Not impressed with the Volkswagon service, (but hey the cars are still great)

I know this sounds silly but is there anyway I could fit a GOLF or POLO TDI engine in the engine bay of my 1998 Nov 1.9 CLD polo?

I need Diesil for the miles i do as work and know of no engine mods for the dirty straight D so could this be an option or is it a big NO NO!

I just bought a set of Mk5 polo gti rear lights from breakers in England that was on the net, £60 plus delivery, wires, bulbholder the lot for both sides.

Problem now is fitting the bast**ds.
