Darker tail lights to R6? Is there?

My old Polo 9N is about to go now. Tomorrow morning, I will order new, deep black polo with ... well.. everything. :D But when the new Polo is going to have Body kit, sport suspension, darkened rear windows etc., I cannot stop thinking that why it still comes with screaming red tail lights. Black ...

Is my washer pump gone or is it just the Fuse?

About week ago temperature in Finland dropped to -18 in one night. That completely freezed my Polo and my washer didn't work anymore. I thought that it is just frozen and put some more "-35" liquid in it. Now the washer water is ok, but still no sound from pump when I try to wash window.

The ...

"Well, there's your problem..." one might say. :D My friend and I opened my brakes and found reason for that crakling noise which I keep hearing from time to time and also we noticed the mother of all brake system problems...

The noise came from the 5mm stone that was stuck between caliber and ...

VW Brakes are driving me mad - Do I have any choices!?

My polo has ran about 130 000 kilometers by now and I have changed my discs and pads twice by now (I have only owned it about 70 000 km) and once the Service dude told me that he had to change pads from behind, because the brakes were jammed.

This is so god damn frustating! And wait - there is more ...

Mostly diesels on this thread ;) Anyhow. My meter shows up only litre / 100 kilometers, but I found this conversion table generator which might even be accurate enough. ;)

My avarage is something like 36MPG with city and urban roads.

you blew your EGR up!? crikey that musta been some serious back pressure lol

Twice. Before I "kindly" asked them to look for the real reason instead fixing the damage. VW dealer could not find the problem but our local car repairer found broken MAF instantly and replaced that. Connection between ...

As far as I know, Polo engine cannot handle the situation where the engine is running and you open the oil cap. I found this hard way as well. I removed the cap because I though that it was not tight enough and my engine stalled. I asked about this from our local dealer and he said that this is ...

the main difference is you'll be at the petrol shop more often!!

I can vouch for this, I removed my K&N as I found it was affecting my fuel consumption, It sounds great but I was lossing about 15-20miles on my normal journey to work. I replaced it back with the standard air filter

ouch. That ...

Yes. I can believe that it is more like 0.5 hp :) but eventually it still does what I want? I mean, it really makes it easier for the car to "take off" from 0? At the moment it feels kind of heavy when it starts moving i.e. from traffic lights.

I do have 17" inch rims, but I felt same kind of ...

MAF sensor might be expensive, but MAP sensor isn't. Over here I had to pay 6 euros for it (Yes. Original part) and it should be easy to change even... (They didn't charge me for that and it took only 15 minutes...)

How about better intake? Is it just marketing BS that it gives me 5+ hp and more torgue for takeoff?

I am not good with engine tech, but if I try to imagine what happens at the engine when air flows to compustion champer with better pressure and cooler, the whole process is more power efficient ...

Has anyone tried to get more out of basic 1.4 petrol engine?

My polo just went over 125 000 kilometers and it is starting to lose some cricital engine parts. Throttle position sensor is about gone and its now making wierd noise. I found that the OEM spare part is very expensive (700 euros over here) so I thought that I can look around if there is some tuning ...
