Car is in London atm, will be back here sometime next week, can be viewed near Skegness, or if your mate is serious we would agree to meet somewhere between us and you.

We have some talking to do about the price though!

91 Polo Saloon

The time has come to sell my daily. Am selling the car as I am moving to central London in September and will not need to run a car.

1991 (Mk2f) Polo Saloon, 1.05l catalyst. I've had it for two years and it hasn't skipped a beat. In this time I've done loads of work, detailed below. Cheap tax - was ...

Finally pics of mine, stocker from the outside, just mild ice on the interior. I have a little paint work to tidy up - its never going to be a show car while I have it, but it needs to look nice. Its getting there. There are some dents and scrapes that have mostly come out. Can anyone spot the one ...

If you want to hard wire the sat nav, you are going to need a voltage stabiliser - check out linitx.com(.co.uk?) or the like for one. Your other option is to buy the fag lighter plug from Maplin and wire it directly to the battery, then use the standard charger for your sat nav. You'd obviously have ...

My theory on Meguires - they make good products, however are they experienced in making electrical goods? No. Buy a good quality PC - have a look on detailing world for more information. My bro has a dual head 3" that he got from Sweeden for about £60 posted. It was fantastic at eating through the ...

The work he describes I've just done on mine, it really isn't difficult for a beginner to do :( The coolant and the thermostat would probably cost you say £5 for 1.5litres coolant, thermostat and sealing ring, about the same. Then around half an hour to do the work. If you had haynes and a very ...

Also check for the mayo type substance under the oil filler cap. Thermostatic switches are £13 including VAT from VW - I just got one! Leaks in the cooland system can also make the cooland boil because it isn't pressurised any more (the pressure increases the boiling temperature) The polo is nice ...

Coolant increases the boiling and freezing point of the water in the cooling system of the car. This means that as well as being higher, because of the pressure in the system, the coolant will not boil as the engine termperature increases above 100 degrees C.

Get the fan looked at and have the ...

The style is "slotmag" however I couldn't tell you the brand. There were some good companies making them and then some copies made. If they are alloy rather than steel they are likely to be more valuble. Try contacting Big Al on Volkszone, he is a bit of a slotmag perv.

Too many channels would cause interference, also think of the speed of transmission, with so much sound going on and frequencies going to different speakers. The wires do "disappear" if the fitting is to a high standard
