Re: IS A GTI GRILL BADGE MOULDED OR IS IT A CLIP?
It's clipped on.
Once you remove it there are a few tabs, and extra support for the badge, that can be drilled and sanded away.

Re: Anyone ever have their handbrake stick?
Well, mine has started to stick again! I'm guessing cold weather does it no favours.
It doesn't really bother me, no point throwing money at it, when I plan to sell in 6-7months.

Re: Anyone ever have their handbrake stick?
No worries.
I'm the exact same, don't really need to use the handbrake on my drive, so its kept in gear mostly now instead!

Re: Anyone ever have their handbrake stick?
I think my car had been sitting for a while on the dealers forecourt, but it gradually got worse over the course of a year. Until one day it seized up completely after sitting for about a day with the handbrake on. My gravel driveway, looked like I'd plouged it
But getting the rear drum ...

Re: Anyone ever have their handbrake stick?
I had the exact same problem, got it fixed last week. Hasn't happened again since (fingers crossed)
Dealer's charged me under £30 to clean inside the rear driverside brake drum, and its done the job so far.
I'll let you know if it comes back.

Re: fitting honey combe grilles
When fitting mine, I could not budge the centre one initially. But managed to get it out by bending the very top of it down all the way across, bit by bit, and then a massive tug by both me and my brother, got it out.

Re: mark 5 golf gti seats,
Yeah I have seen polos on polo9n.info with mk5 golf gti/r32 seats. Can't find them at the moment, but they are there!
I think the fronts should fit in with modified frames, and the backs need to be cut down at either end, and taylored to fit (from memory!)

Any breaking 9n3 GTI's?
I know its a bit of a long shot, but does anybody know of any GTI's being broken or in a breakers yard etc?
I need a part of the rear spoiler, that unfortunately VW can't get for me.
I have the GTI rear spoiler and the GTI rear break light, but I need the part which replaces the old high level ...
