It happened again today!

The day after I put in £10 worth of Supermarket (Tesco) petrol, which has got me thinking about my next move?

A. Should I stay off Supermarket petrol or

B. Should I upgrade from 95 to 98 octane or

C. Go back onto using RedX.

I would appreciate any thoughts on the ...

Just to update you - the car has been running fine now for a couple of weeks however I didn't want to get back to you untill I had given it a decent journey - I have just come back from a trip of approx 100 mls and the car has been faultless.

What do I put this ...

I have a VW Polo 1.6 GLX 1996 (P Reg) 74,000mls.

The car runs well apart from a niggling problem of cutting out intermittently.

I can be driving along fine and the engine/ignition just cuts out - I pull into the side of the road, switch off the ignition, switch on again and the engine re-starts ...
