Dunno if its related but my car did similar untill eventually it cut out and fired on just 3 cylinders. i thought it was clutch related to, Turned out to be my ignition system took it in for a new set of performance HT's distributer and sparkies and got them to clean fuel injectors and throttle body...

Yeah checked em made sure there sparking etc, turning out whole ignition was FUBAR'd new distributer, new Ht's, new sparks and whole lotta labour chardge, to be fair they cleaned my throttle body out and sorted it all back as well so i won't complain.

ANyone had the problem of having only three working?
Iv treid the obvious leads such as spark plugs HT leads and distributor cap. all cleaned up connections even put a new sparkie in the cyclinder not playing just to be sure.

any ideas?

Tinting your rear lights normally ain't a problem with MOT's you need to find a local garage that does them and get friendly it may cost you a bit now and again but save a hell of alot when it comes to removing mods come MOT day.
