I've had a quote for£230 for the parts and fitting inc water pump. Is this a good price?

So that translates into NOW. Might be a good idea to change the waterpump at the same time as its driven by the cambelt - also use a VAG cambelt kit as it contains most of the tensioners and idlers/relay pulleys. One extra item to buy, as it is curiously left out of the cambelt kit for the 1.4 ...

Could someone tell me when the cambelt should be changed on a 2003/03 1.4 S polo?

Its only done 16,000 miles.

The center insert of the dash seems to be peeling. It seems to be a very thin layer of rubber/plastic. Has anybody else had this? I there a way of repairing it?
Its on 03 Polo 1.4 S and its only done 15,000 miles.

How much would a new centre insert cost?
