Definitely not. Oversteer is usually quick and unexpected. Understeer is usually progressive and easy to correct.

with myself having a basically a 400bhp polo 1.8 tsi, it really does depend on how far you wan't to take it. for a stage 1 i'd say APR but it all ends there as they stopped doing stage 2 a month or so ago. I would suggest pulling the unit half way out then removing the glovebox...there is a video on YouTube for this on a 6R. I found it easier to leave the glovebox in position an slowly work it out. You will need to feed the wiring in as you work it out.

the software is free, the genuine cable is basically the unlock code for it

It a vw oem unit 3q0035842b is the part number for it.

I've already upgraded to the correct unit so just sending the unit out of the glovebox.
