I imagine all the dash warning sounds have stopped working, ie low fuel, low washer fluids etc..... Then this means the dash pod needs replacing. Both I and Killis had these replaced under warranty. Des is there a low washer fluid warning on the dash? If you buy the winter pack there is. An...

I thought there was a guide on fitting a boot light in the DIY section, had a quick look but was mistaken. I'm sure some people have done it on here but there are DIY sections on fitting footwell lights, you could take some information from these sections and adapt to suit. If not someone else shoul...

Excellent. *Exactly* what I was thinking of. Thanks! Looks like those rings would also fit the polo. Hmm... Deek I don't think they will, the rev counter wouldn't be a problem but the speedo ring on the Fabia has a slight indent as the trip reset button slightly impedes the edge of the ring. I'd bu...

You definately need to change driving style. 1st gear I take it round to 2/2.5 then change into second, if I'm taking it easy change up through the rest of the gears at 2500/3000 revs or 3500/3750when I'm booting it. There's absolutely no need to rev the hell out of the car as you'll only end up was...

Re: What screwdriver?

I was wondering what screw driver are they under like the glovebox? Those 'star' looking like screws? They obviously don't look like those normal '+' or '-' ones. Thanks You need torx bits, they can be purchased from Halfords or homebase, most places do them now and you'll find that virtually the s...

Personally I'm a fan of the OEM look. Get hold of a Gamma, we know that will definately allow fitment of the RCA cable.

You'll soon find if you buy a third- party stereo you'll get mightly fed-up having to remove the panel, the stereos never fit flush, and they just look out of place.

You can't turn this function off. Just set your right mirror with R (this does both) then adjust your L mirror. How often do you really adjust your mirrors once your satisifed? This function is especially useful if you need to reverse into your garage, both mirrors adjusted to the angle down positio...

I added a sub (infinity basslink  ) to my stereo using a lead from www.bluespot.co.uk.

However I have a Skoda Fabia, there are RCA output on the stereo but you require the cable to get access to them, the same should go for the Beta.

Just have a word with bluespot to confirm.

Try this site

http://www.tachoringe.de I'm sure they have instructions, you could mail them.

Also this is for the Skoda Fabia but they use the same instrument cluster.
