I know this is an old post but I think it's worth a mention that the later 6N (I call it a 6n1.5!) with the dials for the temp and fuel located top-center of the binnacle, has a slip ring and a metal contact to the indicator stalk assembly for the horn. Hi all, we're doing this one again on the 23rd december. Last time it turned into a vw meet with lots of the old aircooled, some of the newer transporters. It was wuite good and full last time so should be pretty good this time too. meeting at 12:30pm this time though...
