AHW units seem quite rare now, BBY are alledged to be new alternative, has anyone done this? is it a straight swap if you use the original fuel & exhaust systems?

Hi Folks I am looking for a replacement AHW engine. I know that this unit was used in Golfs and others, but have seen suggestions that the golf unit is not suitable for a Polo because the starter is at the front. I would have thought that this related to the gearbox not the block. Anyone know for su...

The error code is 00513, 03-10
Engine speed sensor (G28) - no signal - intermittent.
Do you know what type of sensor it is? (how it works)

Hi Folks I've just found your forum and it may be the answer to my prayers! Can anyone tell me what fault code 00513 refers to? is it the camshaft sensor on top of the engine? or the crank sensor round the back? Which bits is it best to remove to get near the crank sensor? Has anyone any experience ...
