carrera sport dished alloys 15" x 7j

15"x7j 4x100mm et 39, centre bore will need 3mm taking out to fit on a vw. clean condition, but with some light curb rash on most of them. no centre caps http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q233/g40jon/DSC00469-1.jpg http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q233/g40jon/DSC00468.jpg http://i137.photobu...

dunno cos your car is a 6n commonly known over here as a mk4, whereas everywhere else calls them a mk3! try asking in the mk4 section!

stick to polo engines golf and ibiza gti engines wont fit without major work and very deep pockets.
consider using a polo 16v engine instead, much less hassle

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q233/g40jon/brumbrum009.jpg not the best pic, but you get the idea! 14x6 cant remember the offset but they fit mk3 polos nicely, spigot rings included, only 3 centre caps at the mo but I have won 4 more off of ebay. tyres are 165/60, 2 are a couple of months old, ...

vw estoril alloy wheels

15"x 6j et38 pretty good nick for their age, all caps present, fitted with federal 165/50 tyres, two half worn and two have a few mm more on them, so have loads of life left in them. repainted them last year and polished the outer edge. http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q233/g40jon/DSC00118-1....

for 14s up to 6.5 j 165/55s look the dogs. fit the rim perfectly and have a nice low profile. anything wider then 185/50 or 195/45s are the only way to go.
185/55s have a tendancy to scrub on lowered mk3s

why not! it wont hurt. in fact it should work well with the one litre engine, as it will suite its short stroke high revving nature. no point in polishing and porting the head, just buy a 1.3 head, it will have bigger ports as std. for other tuning ideas go have a look at what old skool mini owners ...
