Hi, has anyone got a mk4 1.4 single point injection unit?

hi im putting a 1.4 from a mk4 polo into mine but im using the 1.4 head aswell. please not that the mani's are different but it doesnt bother me becasue i am making a mani so i can fit bike carbs. the engine will go on using the polo mk3 mounts but its best to put a 1.3 gt head and ignition on it as ...

is it a mk2 or mk3. if its a mk3 they i think im right in saying that you dad might have spotted the single point injection unit

well i just posted on readers rides some pics of mt car and to me his doesnt look any lower then mine mabe a little lower but mines still on standard rims and his has low profile 13's on it so you would expect it to be.

just brought a twin choke pierberg gt carb for £10 what difference would that make to the 1l?

hi if you undo the shock top and jack teh car off with the wheel off somehow try to leaver the bottom arm down, i use a leaver bar. if that doesnt work undoo the bottom balljoint and hit where it goes into the hub very hard using a hammer and it should come out it always does the trick.

but ant they 16v lumps? to be honest i dont realy like 16v's perfer the torque from the 8v better for where i live. the gt has a lower compression ratio to the 1.3 and a better bottom end im not sure if the ports are the same size. i want to tune the 1.0l but there isnt much point for the money has ...

i been thinking about it. i will keep the bumpers and just make them black again, take the side plastics off, wheels? ats classics, p-slots- or weller steelies or get some nice steelies and get them banded. what are good 13" steelies?

how easy is it to put a 1.3 aav engine in it? what do you hyave to change? and are the ecu's differnt/the loom?
