hi all i'm thinking about installing a new system in my gti. i'm not too bothered about massive base and i need my boot space anyway so a sub is a no no really. i was thinking about a new head unit and some new speakers in the front to improve quality a bit. as i will lose the cd changer i thought ...

they do one for cars without the cupholder and coin holder. just make sure you get the right one! it should be item number 652832 on www.dsldevelopments.com that you need then.

seen this mentioned a couple of times. how does it work exactly?

instead of a cable is there just a sensor which detects how far down the accelerator is pressed, which in turn adjusts the fuel flow?

do these make much difference to the handling?

anyone got one?

are they worth having?

whats the best one?

thats one of the things i love about the GTI, it still looks like it could have come off the production line yesterday.

which brand of car shampoo does everyone use? my mrs got me a set of autoglym products for christmas, it has 100ml bottles of shampoo, glass cleaner, tar remover etc. only used the shampoo a couple of times but it seems to do a good job, leaves a nice shine etc. however, i popped inot halfords today...

ordered one of these on saturday evening from dsl developments and it arrived today. just fitted it and its excellent! well positioned and easy to install. it doesnt get in the way of the cup holder either, which i kinda worried it might. so if anyones looking for a phone dash mount i'd highly recco...

was the dashmount one any good? it looks to be in a better position, the brodit one may get in the way if the cup holder opening.

im looking for a phone mount for my dash board, so i can make use of the sat nav on my phone etc. i don't want one that sticks to the window, i want something like this one: http://www.dsldevelopments.com/SiteGFX/Brodit_images/652689-4.jpg this one however is only for cars with that line of buttons ...

i was lookiong at buying a GT TDI before i bought the GTI but they are so expensive!

how much did you sell you GTI for?

what happened to the TT? is that a more long term purchase?
