Sounds a bit more like it! Where did you get them from with the plug and play? Cant really be arsed with all the changing of wires!
Ditto, would make life a tiny bit easier

Cheers Dazza, loving the GT! Must be rapid with your remap 8) Been on the phone with mum (who must approve of all mods even though I own the car ) and have got the green light. Only thing I'm not looking forward to is having a chat with my insurers, who will probably make me bend over and leave...

1.4 TDi remap...

Well, had my car for nearly 5 months now...hasn't missed a beat and the only thing that's gone wrong was a lass (b***h?) at uni who reversed into it scraping my bumper and sped off. Got the details through a friend who saw it, but the police don't seem to interested... Performance-wise, I'd say it's...

Votex rear spoiler and rear valance, 9n3 rear lights... Are the rear lights a stright swap or does the loom need changing for the new one? Need to swap out some connectors on the plug, but looks pretty easy. Got a set on their way in the post :D Give this a read: http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/polofor...

The first long(ish) drive...

Well, in a few hours I get to drive 170 odd miles down south to Peterborough to my mates place for a party and then back up to Durham tomorrow. Kinda thinking going out on the lash last night might not have been the wisest of decisions, but I'm not hungover. Besides, I'm probably gonna be much worse...

I've done a bit of research on Parkers and I presume it's a sport model? The 1.4 100bhp sport was a more expensive car than the 1.4 FSI, it's quicker but does less MPG. Even if the garage are a pain then you might have a got a better car! although it's one insurance group higher and the engine is o...

Meh, currently just my 2003 Polo sport TDi and occasionally mum's A3 2.0 TDi.

Would really love a Corrado for a project/weekend car when I can afford to get a 2nd car AND run, insure, tax....you get the idea :(

The tweeters in the 9n are in the a-pillars. If you're using the OEM wiring and not amping them up, it's just a matter of replacing the stock tweeters and mid range drivers with the Alpines. You'll be able to figure out where the OEM crossover is once you remove the doorcards.
