Speedo Needle Sticking
Hi All - I hope someone can help with a problem thats been ongoing for about 6 months - whenever I travel between 60mph - 70mph the needle on the speedo seems to get stuck around the 60mph mark then jumps to 70mph when I reach that speed, its not smooth as you would expect and only seems to happen ...

Thanks to everyone for responding, just to give you an update I fitted the new discs and pads at the weekend, a couple of things that might help anyone else doing this on a 2002 1.4 TDi ( thats if my set up is standard for this model)

Workshop manual indicates the rears are 232mm and 256mm for the front for the 1.4 Tdi - the only difference is for engine codes ASZ and BLT (1.9 Turbo), they require 288mm front discs and 232 for rear. As for the rewind /wind back tool...should be able to pick one up from GSFcarparts for under £20 ...

I would be grateful if someone could let me know sizes/parts or part codes for front and rear pads and discs for a 2002 (52 plate) 1.4 TDi polo.
