Normally on my 10mile 20-25min (5mins on motorway) drive to work it would take around 2miles for the temp to reach the "Optimum Temp" (needle in middle).
But lately (yes i know we have had some ...

Warm engine on start up = STALL
Hello, my trusty old Polo has started developing a fault.
It only seems to occur when engine is warm (ie. just drove it, popped into tescos for 10 mins).
If when starting from cold its runs perfect, turn ignition and off we go, but when the engine is still warm i turn the ignition and it revs so far ...

Re: How many miles on average do you get out of a tank ?
Ah so it seems mines all in order, thought that was a bit low but seems to be the average.
Was wondering if the lambada sensor needed changing as its a 13 year old car and as I've only had it 1.5 years and have no history of it ever being changed.

Bought my 1.3 1995 polo in october. Done a couple of trips to Barrow-in-furness from manchester.
I once got out of a full tank + £10 500 miles (went to barrow in this duration).
But at crimbo (going to barrow) gave it a full tank and i only got 300 miles.
Now i thought i got ripped off on a 1 shot ...
