Just had a thought iv got a wiring loom for fogs but the square ones (orginal part) would they fit u reckon?? Yes the loom would work easily. I'm located in Dartford, so a 3-4hour drive roughly if you want to pick up, I did a drive to R-tech in liecstershire, doing 60mph there and back did around £15 in fuel.

the fogs are not an OEM VW item, I bought them off ebay as they are after market, yet they fit perfectly, I'll get you some photos this weekend, they do look closely like the 6n2 fogs though (but their not). This is tricky as your ignition barrel has 3 parts,off, a general on, then ignition. So you could just wire a "push to make" switch directly to the ignition wires in the ignition barrel, downside is you will need the key in and in the general on position (easiest) or You could have a on/of...
