engine mount seems a bit extreme would take alot to disturb the engine off the mount or vice versa have you checked all your brackets by chance my old car used to make like weird static knocking noise really strange to discribe turned out to be brake hose brackets and exhaust middle bracket knocking...

and what spray did you use just car grade spray??
