Discs and pads

Got my MOT today and just have a funny feeling it's going to fail on discs and pads. So what are we all running? I fancy something a bit different 8) or should i just save the money and just buy standard?

Re: setting low beam lights up after lowering??

I took mine to VW had them to have them sorted and they said they were at their highest setting :S anyway they were still pointing too low so i adjusted then manually and they have been fine ever since, never moved or reset so i'm not sure if mine are buggered but the manual option worked for me

Re: Refurbing BBS RX11 Wheels HELP!!!

just keep nitromorsing and scraping and sanding thats all i did however i found that the brown wood stripper worked better than the green metal stuff, it does take ages to get the flatted right back. just patients and time is all thats required ;)

Re: How do you remove the rear view mirror?

IIRC You should be able to put some rag around the 'tube' where it connects to the glass and use some mole grips and a small anti clockwise turn should release it. There is a picture somewhere ill see if i can find it.

Don't you just hate it when you forget how low your car is and drive out of someones driveway and you loose half your splitter :x

Anyone happen to know where i can get one either second hand or new? Even better if someone had a VW part no or a rough price... :)

Thanks Tom

Some people will choose to keep it on but i just think it tidies the back end up and its an incentive to ...
