Because they haven't done the checkes before hand. HPI I think its called. That will bring up any accidents, write offs or outstanding finance I think.

Just remembered this topic. I got my key cut the other week at the nearest Timpsons. I asked about prices, he said if they supplied the blank it was £30 cut and coded. It cost me £8 to have my blank key cut, I asked if they could do the coding also. He said they can do it. I didn't see him do any ...

Yeah thats correct 6.5 inch or 17-17.5 cm for the door speakers. The tweeters are in the dash, I think they're 1.5-2 inches from memory, but just take them out and measure them. They have specific mountings.

In the mk4's keys there is a transponder inside the key, if you split it open you can change it over with another transponder. If its the same on the Gti engine and you've got the other key, that might work.

That looks well good. Can't wait 'til I can do mine. Where abouts was this one?
