Superb, managed to get the box out, will see if it was just a dry joint and if not will replace the box this week. Thanks very much for your help. much appreciated, didn't fancy paying £200+ with VW :) :)

Thanks so much for the reply, I have located the box, which was wrapped in a plastic bag with brown tape around it (By VW) as it broke the day I got the car, about 6 years ago. I disconnected the socket and re connected it and it worked and i was unable to lock the car. It doesn't sound healthy as ...

Polo Gti Central Locking

Hi guys the central locking has packed up on my car. Over the last year it has been intermittent, it would normally groan when locking and unlocking. The key fobs still activate and deactivate the alarm. I can still get into the car by manually inserting the key. Only problem is I’m on the red with ...

Hey guys, just noticed the other day that the little rubber knob that controls the electric mirrors has come off some how :? i just wondered if anyone knew the best place to get one, and if so how much?

Thanks for the replies, ive used the hose, it gets rid of most of the dust/bits, gonna dry that black stuff, put a coat of that on when its dry, thanks again :wink:

Polo GTI Grille Cleaning

Hey guys n gals, can anyone suggest ways of cleaning the honeycomb grille on the Gti, or suggest methods or products used, even after a clean its still covered in dust and stuff clinging on, some of the people on here have very black looking grilles.

any help much appreciated thanks :D

Perhaps Some different wingmirrors, Do they Do 'M3 style' mirrors For the Gti? because i think they would look pretty good!
