I have 195/50/15 on my 6n polo and i think it looks really good.

If you get 45s on the front there might not be as much rubbing issues if your not planning on altering the arches, my 50's rubbed a bit on the plastic arch cover so i just took it off and im no ...

i just jacked my car up, took me wheel off cleaned em a bit and painted away with a brush and it looks alright =/
