Bummer! I thought i'd be getting a decent insurance price but £1400 for a 1.4TDI. Im 25 years old now with 2 years no claims discount and still getting bumped! :(

Ticki, I must agree with you on this one. Its a matter of customer satisfaction at the end of the day, if I brought some discs from a company as successful as Black Diamond I would expect an exchange if I wasnt satisfied with the product, its not ebay so why the fuss?

Hello,

Got a 2000 6n2 1.4 TDI, the problem I'm having is a strange sound when I start the car. The starter motor turns the car over with no problems at all, and the engine does start, only problem is I get a strange noise directly after its started (like a 'hooooooon'). I had a simliar problem with ...

Putting new wire through the grommets is such a pain in the back side!!!

However it is the only way to go, I would take my time with it because it can get veryyyyyy frustating!

Coolant leak! 2000 1.4 TDI (AMF Engine)

I recently have been expriencing a coolant leak and have found the source of the problem. The temperature gauge sender has a leak and I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Is the housing? The sender? or the 'O' ring?

Any help please?
