My dad's car has an aftermarket alarmsystem fitted that locks the doors the first time you hit the brakes after starting the car. Pretty cool, it unlocks the doors once the ignition is turned off. Very useful anti-carjacking/interior theft prevention feature.

Brake improvements rule. I've found a how-to for a reardrums-to-discs conversion, may have to try it next summer.

195/45/15 will solve the rubbing issues, even looks a bit better too!

The lights will suit your car even better, as the only red lights on my car (interior) are the ones I added... Don't GTI's have red interior lighting? I know they do on a Mk4, but it could be different.
