nope, bog standard suspension springs and shocks with 13" bog standard vw alloys :D

I will vag-com it tomorrow just to see if anything comes up.. but I don't have any warning lights or anything and I can still rev right upto the red.. it just seems quite delayed :(

I have noticed recently there is a considerably noticeable delay between pressing the accelerator pedal and the engine revving.. I'm not talking a whole second, but to the point that I have to rev before I even consider touching the clutch or it judders or stalls.. It's becomming increasingly annoyi...

Just recently I have noticed that when going forwards or backwards on full lock (either way) I get a horrible screeching or rubbing noise somewhere from the front of my car. My old fiesta's rear wheel bearings were making a noise similar to the one you described and it was only noticeable at speeds over 30. I would definitely get it checked out if in doubt, I was told by the garage I part exchanged it to that they were just about ready to shatter... :/

Press the whole switch in, then turn to side lights and it will release.. repeat in reverse to refit the new switch.
