Re: Seats

I'm pretty tall and the original 6n seats are doing my back in! Any recomendations on seats with lumbar support or bucket type seats that are gonna offer more support? Straight swap ideal! Cheers lads!

Quickie: What order to change my brake parts

Gave my polo a once over last week and found that nearly all the brake comps need changing - discs, pads, shoes and fluid. Have all the parts and my trusty Haynes manual but just wondering if it makes life easier to do it in any particular order? Fluid or parts first? Front before back? Any tips ...

wicked, I'm going to upgrade to greenstuff front pads. Could do with some decent brake fluid. Any recommendations for that or is brake fluid pretty standard? Also how to braided hoses improve braking and by how much?

Performance Brake Recomendations

Alright Guys,

Just checked over my N reg 1.4 8v and my brake pads, discs and shoes are all at minimum thickness. I could nip down to GFS and pick up some like4like parts but I'd prefer to do some upgrades and am after some recommended parts and manufacturers.

I'm not looking for anything showy and ...

Aunty Roll Bars ;P

I want to fit an anti-roll bar to my 6n 8v to try and improve its handling. What I want to know is can I pick up one of these second hand at the breakers? If so were they fitted to the 16v / 6n2 or particular engines and is it a straight swap to my 6n?

Cheers boys!

Mix and match body pannels - what fits and what doesnt?

Due to some &(££*%% lads in Brighton knocking six bells out of my 6n overnight I now need half my body panels replaced. Rather than just replace like for like I've decided to take this 'opportunity' *swears loudly* to do a bit of a restyle.

I was gonna remodel the back end for starters with a 6N2 ...

G60 pads, disks or both? front and rear?
Was thinking about a de-cat but won't that risk MOT failure on emissions?
