cheers guys, so when i buy springs do i need to buy different shocks too? and about the alloys, what does et37 mean and what does 4X100 mean for example??

Also - want to lower my car, does this just involve getting shorter springs (lowering springs) or is there anything else involved, soz for sounding dumb. Also, whats a sensible amount to lower which isnt rediculously low but looks good. How much am i looking at too, thanks

Just ordered a 6N2 GTi grill, would anyone be able to give me instructions on how to take the original off and fit the new one? cheers

Yeah it doesnt bother me too much, i just get annoyed by the slightest noise, as long as my gearbox aint gonna pack in any time soon im not too fussed. lol

Got it sorted, just left my battery disconnected overnight, then did the 30 second key combination it tells you about in the user manual. Thanks anyway. Had to go a week without my car tho, and used the train instead. lol

I need my car working ASAP, please help. My car is a (2000) vw polo, 1.4 16v. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes, I reconnected it, now when i start the car, the engine just cuts out. Its like the ECU is stopping the fuel pump or sumat. would anyone be able to help please.

Oh kool cheers man, Ive acually just bin looking at what youve done. Good job! I might have to do some of the mods youve done, like spraying the door handles, cos mine are peeling and look crappy. how hard is it to get them off?

Whats a sensible but nice size wheel and tyre combination to fit the arches of a MKV polo which will look good??

Dont think its loose tappets mate, the noise isnt really a tapping sound, its hard to describe, its more like a flapping kind of noise. Anymore ideas?
