right i'll try n help ye' as im feeling generous :lol: right get sum alloys first obviously a personal preference but if you plan to go low dont get mahoosive alloys like 17's or 18's, go for 15's n 16's if your going -50mm or more, but if you only wanna go -40mm then 17's shub be good to make it lo...

yeah it is recommended to have tracking and camber adjusted, i think it stops your tyres wearing out quicker if i remember rightly

it was bloody firm!! feel it through my back i had to raise the back up 10mm cos it was slightly rubbing so the backs at -65 and front -75 also i took the rear mud guards out again to stop scrubbage obviously i cant get a comfortable ride now! i think i've got it set just right now, im not rubbing w...

right well i've got spax coil-overs after fitting them i read on the box that they are most commonly used for btcc touring cars setup, so at the mo the ride is bouncy as fuk, just gotta fine tune the dampers. i think the tracking may be out now aswell, cos it tends to steer into bends better, or is ...

i've gone -75mm all round, but just one niggle
its kinda bumpy the ride at the mo
i've got adjustable dampers, that are set quite hard, if i set them softer will this improve the cars bouncy characteristics?
i had to take the rear mudguards off so the wheels wouldnt rub

i've yet to test drive it on the road, but may have to fiddle with the damping to get it just right, im on Spax Rsx

right i've just done all my suspension over 2 days!
polobenboy i've gone -75mm low all round on 16's with no rubbing at all
and it looks phat and very very low

theres also a gti front lip spoiler painted in silver going on Ebay at the mo

hes a very keen lad thats all! if your worried about what height you wanna go, then go for a set of adjustable coil-overs, they are pricey but you get what you pay for. the set i opted for has got 28 click adjustable damping front and rear so i can set the dampers up hard or soft at the pop of the b...
