Hey everyone!

As you can guess a couple times over the past month and a bit I have lost the turbo in my car, I went to my local VAG shop and they couldn't find any fault on the ECU for it! First it happened, I was just driving along and noticed no boost and it was struggling to get past 2k revs, so ...

Got the Remap done earlier today!! All I can say is .... WOW!!! it is brilliant! makes such a difference to the driveability!!!

One of those pleasure pain things happened though :( A BUS driver knowing full well he couldnt get round me went into the side of me but luckily it only left a 3 small ...

Going to get it done middle of next week I think guys. Get payed on tuesday and need the rents to loan me until I get money back from my denplan Will let you all know how it goes once I have it done.

Hey guys, for all you with a 1.4 tdi out there...Considering getting my engine remapped/chipped soon...

Thing is im not sure wether to get it remapped or chipped, which is better? I heard with a remap if you take it to a VW dealer they wont be able to tell it has been remapped whereas with a chip ...

Never heard of that before....

Just wondering, is anyone elses accelerator pedal lower than the break and clutch? got new brakes and realised that the pedal is quite low....Not sure if that is the way it has allways been or there is a problem?

I've checked through your thread david, and you had to buy new ones How much were the primed ones? seemed you spent an absoloute age on priming them?

Are you sanding the bump strips or painting over the bumps directly? Make sure the right primer is used.

Not sure on how to remove the bumpers but in all honesty I think it's pretty simple.

I think you might be able to see how I did mine in my WIP thread (do a quick search)

I will be sanding ...
