hi mate not on here very often but,
the answer to your question is that the t25 and the t 28 have the same flange.
t3 and t4 have the same flange too.
basically if you turbo the 1.6 8v it will be far more easier to get hold of a manifold.
where as the polo gti engine is a 1.6 16v where the manifold ...

mate youve just got to, wait a sec or two and slowly put it into gear.
This is mainly becoz gear boxes arent designed to slamit in to reverse.
You put it into reverse slowly becoz the gear cogs are still in motion the opposite way.
There aint a prob with the gearbox.
