Re: Alarm and auto window closing module
what alarm is it as some alarms like clifford or toad do not need any extra wires connecting to activate total closure
also does the locking work correctly off the alarm if the window closure is not connected

Re: Aux in adapter for standard VW Gamma radio
yes that will work but make sure you turn the volume level on your mp3 player down as if it is turned up too high the sound will be distorted
that why i reccomended the ones i linked to as these use the dedicated line output for distortion free listening

Re: Aux in adapter for standard VW Gamma radio
the aux in connects to the changer input so you would lose the changer you can only have one or the other not both i'm afraid plus that lead is not the correct one for you car you need one of these http://im.edirectory.co.uk/p/4148/i/ctvvgx001.jpg or one of these autolead part number pc7-108a http:/...

Re: Wireing 9n3 Boot Light
yes connect the positive side of your light to a permanent 12v supply
then you need to find the brown/white wire that connects to the pin switch built into the boot lock
this can be found behind the trim on either the drivers or passengers side in the boot near the tailights

Re: Rear speakers
easiest way to check is pull the h/u out and see it the iso plug has 8 wires or 4 in it if its got 8 then its is prewired for rear speakers if 4 then its not
every one i have done has never had rear speaker wiring so more than likely it will not have the wiring in place

a 6n2 is standard iso so you don't need the SOT lead it just plugs straight in and away you go

Re: Footwell Neons Wiring
its not possible to wire them that way as the interior light circuit has 2 grounds
one permanent and one from the door pins
the easiest way is to wire the red on the lighting to a permanent 12v+ supply and connect the black from the lights to the brown/white at the door pins

Re: Boot Release kit 6N2
look at how i mounted mine mine is always locked so keep it in the locked position and work your rod and motor accordingly to clear the barrel it is on the opposite side as it is easier to pull on the boot lock rather then pushing as you have done also your rod is way to bent it needs to be as linea...

Re: Boot Release kit 6N2
you can only connect it as a remote boot release as there is no physical means of connecting it to the central locking the rod that activates the actual lock mechanism is very easy to connect to and the good thing is that the boot will always be locked but you will be able to open it remotely here i...
