Re: Ben's Civic EP3 CTR - New Cam Cover Page 48!

I got the grill sprayed up recently as it was looking a little tired Primed followed by a couple of coats of matte black :D I just need a new Honda badge for the front now because the one I took off was battered, I have also decided to leave the Type R badge off for now because I think I prefer it w...

Re: Joe's Gti Progress Thread- Passed MOT + Headlight Restor

Wheels look great fitted Joe :) glad they have gone to a good home, they are perfect for the GTI As Alex said it's quite common for the T1R's to crack on the outer edge, it is just age related but won't cause you any problems. 3 of the tyres were purchased in 2010 whereas the other tyre was brand ne...

Re: What's everyones MPG these days?

I used to average around 30MPG in my old GTI although it was capable of alot better than that on a long run It was a GTI though so the MPG didn't really come into it  My 6N2 1.4 TDI was pulling around 82MPG when I drove it to Kent & back last year, I got from North Wales to Maidstone using ...

Re: Endi_GTI's GTI: 2013 start and more wheels

Looking good Matt :)

Typhoon is the best kit by far although the BMC has a nicer grumble at low revs, performance wise the Typhoon is better too if you run it on the long feed.

Re: TROTTA'S Audi TT Quattro sport 240 thread,UPDATED!.*

It says they have a forged crank and pistons but the rods are not which is why it isn't advisable to run more than 300 lbs ft of torque. There is a big thread on Seat Cupra.net because the old Leon Cupra R has the BAM engine too like the TT but tuning wise it's pretty limited without taking the engi...

Re: TROTTA'S Audi TT Quattro sport 240 thread,UPDATED!.*

The BAM engine is pretty limited tuning wise unless it's re-built Pretty sure the rods will start to bend if you push more than 280bhp which is why you only tend to see mildly tuned TT's & Cupra R's It cost's mega money to get the most from the engine, the BAM engine is probably the least reliab...
