Are they easy enough to remove? are they held on by a screw or do you have to undo the bearing nut?

Hi, When I put the clutch down, the revs drop past idle and it feels like its going to cut out. Recently during the cold weather and the engine running from cold it has actually cut out a couple of times leaving me with my dash lights on and me rolling down the road with no power steering and poor b...

The bottom half of the window has come loose, the glue must have given up, has anybody had this issue before, can I just stick it again with silicone

Today the dash decided to have a fit, started off with the rev dial gone crazy then the oil light flashing and ! light. eventually all dials and lights stopped working

i've been trying to change the gear linkage seal on the gearbox today, i've got the old one off but the new one just won't go on, any tips or ideas.

also what size socket do i need to undo the gearbox filler plug.

i've got the old seal out, but can't get the new one in, any tips please as the car is in the road on axle stands.

thanks, how do you get the linkage out of the box, does it just slide out once the linkage is dismantled.

just read this thread, anymore info on the selector shaft oil seal, as i have oil leaking in this area.

I noticed an oil leak a while back but lately it seems to be getting worse as it has started to drip on to the ground. it's dripping from the gearshift linkage by the gearbox but i can't tell where the actual leak is coming from, i keep cleaning down the area and checking back after a couple of days...

sitting in the car earlier, heard a click sound like when the seat locks into position but the bottom of the upright section has collapsed and has no support like the passenger seat.

can this be fixed, how do you take the seat apart to have a look.

fixed the problem, it was the coolant temp sensor, replaced it and its now running fine, starts up and idles perfectly.

whats a coinsidence.

do you think its an air leak.

well today i started it from cold and the idle was rough, i found that if i reved it, it would just cut out but if i just let it idle it would eventually smooth out and run fine.

i've also noticed if its left to idle for long time when warm i can start to smell petol fumes.

someone told me it might be the coolant temp sensor, telling the ecu the engine is warm so it ends up not putting enough fuel in when cold.
