Re: Tyre size for 17'' alloys

Won the auction yesterday on the above GTi alloys. They've got 215/40/17 tyres on so they should be fine....I hope :/

Will get some pics up soon on another thread

If I just put those on and then lowered by say 30-35mm, would you have any rubbing?

Parrot CK3100 install in 9N

Hi there

I'm looking at installing a Parrot CK3100 in my 2005 9n. I'm pretty confident at the dash removal etc but wanted to get a quick rundown on linking it into the radio cassette. Also, do I need any additional leads etc?

Cheers in advance,
Mike :)

Re: Engine Cooling Fan Issue

I've had one or two occasions when stuck in heavy traffic when I've had the coolant light flash on the dash and beep and the temp head into the red. I've only had the fan come on once in the year I've owned the car so either the fan and/or fuse is gone, coolant level is fine so could it be a faulty ...

Re: Ideas for Road Trip

Do like the idea of France as I have a day trip on Channel Tunnel - just trying to think where I can go...

Re: Catalytic Coverter Problems.

Bit of an update, been taking several trips from Cardiff - Newport and back and nothing has happened. Maybe a slight drop in miles per tank but I have ragged it quite a bit lately!

Ah weel, we'll wait and see
