The cockpit light adjustment doesn't really help. I have it on the lowest setting and it still reaches the drivers in front. I thougt that maybe i could do it myself. It happened to me before and i went to volkswagen. They wanted to charge me £20 for it, but they ended not charging me at all cos i ...

Headlights misaligned! What do i do?

The headlights on my polo aren't aligned. The left one is higher then the right, so it appears to be too bright to the other drivers. How do i sort this out?

I managed to fit my K&N induction kit the other day and everything is fine. The only thing is, I don't know where the thin hose goes that used to be connected to the cover go!

But doesn't the circumference of the wheel still change when you go up to 17. I used to have 185/55/14 tyres and now i have 205/40/17 tyres. The circumference of the old tyres is roughly about 94% of the new ones. So surely all the readings are less than what they are supposed to be. On the way back...

I quite like my stickers. I only have like three or four on each side and they're etched. I think they're a nice little touch! I used to have a huge sticker on the sun strip and a really small one on the rear window. Got rid of them cos they were too random! :?

Speedometer is MESSED up - what do i do?

As you may or may not now, i recently took the big leap of going to 17's from a set of 14" babies, and my speedomter is f***** up. The speedometer and the clock shows about 90% of the true value. What can i do to fix it and how much will it cost?
Thanx

Are coilovers better than suspension kits? I know that you can adjust the dampening and the ride height, but what does that do to the handling of the car?

Yeah they do get condensation occasionally. But it doesn't really bother me. It gets it on the outer edges of the lights. I have standard dampers on the car. When i get some money, I'm gona try and invest in some collies.

It clears but only just. Sometime later i'll get 195/40/17 tyres for the front and then get 3mm spacers, it'll give it much more clearance then. Would it be good to have 195's at the front and 205's at the back, or should i have the same all round. Thanx polo2k for the advice. P.S. went to the vw de...

I thought i was lowered by 45mm on eibach springs, but the box says approx. 50mm, so its one or the other. With the 17s on, it definately looks higher!!!

VwPo1o's ride in the members section (What do you think?)

I see the pics and the first thing i think of are the lights. They look absolutely awesome at night, but during the day they don't seem to suit do they? I've got a set of sprayed standard lights. What do you think? Would appreciate some feedback. :D
Thanx

Yeah i'm gona get them rolled some time next week. Gona go back home to greenford. I live pretty close to styledynamax, but i never knew they existed; i'll give them a visit. The car only scrubs when i hit a bump, but it doesn't when i don't. It rubs against the inner lip of the arch, which i will b...
