"Squeaky" Clutch Pedal

Pedal Box! Same fault as Caddy's etc. Clutch goes stiff, doesn't get changed in time, puts strain on Cable and twists/breaks/cracks pedal box mounting bracket that's bolted to the bulkhead. Hi, my clutch pedal is squeaking... and I don't want the above to happen! Any idea how to fix it? Is it a job...

Re: 6N Polo Subframe!! HELP!!!

No idea, but report it to the council. Threaten them to take them to court, or demand all the money to pay for it to be fixed. It is their duty to repair local roads, after all...

Re: 2001 vw polo 6n problems

You have a 6n2 pal, not a 6n.

Try asking in the other forum, maybe they will give a better/quicker answer. :)

Re: Lights on dash stopped working

It sounds like it's a blown fuse. Check under the driver's footwell, the fuse box is down on the left.

IIRC, the details of which fuse is which is behind the storage thingy in the footwell, just pull it out and read it on the back.

Have a look in the manual too to check how to do it all.

In fact, any restoration car would be brilliant. I think I will detail my Polo when I get enough mo...

Re: fitting indicators

If you are talking about side repeaters; Push them towards the rear of the car, they should just push out. Look in the manual, it gives a nice diagram. :) Then, un-clip the old bulbs, and fit the new one in. If you are talking about front side indicators; http://www.uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?f=10&...

Re: Performance air filter fitting Photos?

They really are a waste of money...

But, anyway, remove the airbox and put the new filter in.

Pretty simple from what I've heard, but I doubt you will notice much of a difference (apart form a better sound, and higher petrol consumption!)

Re: How to connect LED strobes to 12V DC??`

Hi, I did it today, so if anyone wants to know... Disconnect the battery. Remove the cigarette lighter, just give it a good tug lol. (Remove the bin tray next to it first, though. Makes it MUCH easier to do.) Then snip off the centre and earth/-ve wire. Connect the live lead to the middle wire by wi...
