If they done the work and its failed already they should definately be paying to put it right, they should have some sort of guarantee for the work. If not i'm sure there's some sort of legal obligation you could wave at them, I don't see how they could make any excuse for it failing ?

Thats a pain in the arse mate but at least it isn't gearbox, hope you get it sorted quickly and they do a proper job this time !

The Venturi pipes on the gti are within the intake pipes and not the actual airbox :)

I've noticed my brakes are absolutely shocking. My mum drove it the other day and said it was some of the worst brakes she'd used When I had my polo the brakes were shocking on it too, really spoiled the car, but they shoulnd't be that way, when working properly the brakes should be pretty damn goo...

Thats all that seems to be cropping up on the forum at the moment! I hate VW for snubbing the Polo GTi about this, surely they realised a long time ago... To be honest I don't think there'll be much of a difference in outright power/0-60 when the 1.6 is remapped, it'll be the torque spread/drivability of the car that will be noticably improved, which for normal driving will be more important !

I'm 99% sure its rod change, but not 100 % :oops:
