Neilw, no, mine is black 3dr. I keep seeing a tasty silver one at the hampshire tennis and health club. Nice set of alloys on it and a custom exhaust. Is that the one, or maybe yours?

Hi Josh

Does the VR6 application need to be modified, or does it fit right in?

I'll need to let the shop know exactly what to do or they might not want to do it!

Cheers,

Chris

The gear lever is shorter, and the point at which it pivots is moved upwards. These two things combined reduce the travel of the gear stick by up to 40%. The system is aslo very well engineered, and you get that lovely 'snick, snick' when you change gears.

I can't wait! Thanks Guys

B & M short-shifters GROUP BUY!!

Hello all!

I remember a while back there was some discussion about B&M shifters. Well, a friend of mine just got one fitted in his Saxo, and it really is sweet!

So, I went to the same place to ask about getting one fitted in my Polo, but apparently there isn't one for the polo. :?

I know a few ...

I changed my front VW badge for a black one.

The old one does come out quite easily with a good grip and a steady pull.

are you ashamed to be driving a GTi?

No, I am just going for a really smooth look. Door strips, handles/locks, side indicators..... are all on the chopping block!

besides ...

I've taken both off! :D

I'm going to remove the VW badge aswell, but I can't do that myself because of the filling, smoothing and painting. :x

Standard BBS wheel corrosion.

I was wondering if I could run something by you guys, and maybe get some input from you.

I bought my Polo GTi about 18 months ago. When I bought it the BBS alloys were severely corroded in exactly the same way that many of you seem to have, or have had problems with.

I was lucky enough at the ...

Hi!

Sorry if I sound a bit thick, but can you explain what you mean by the breather. Does a pipercross breather work better? Is it easy to moddify?

Black VW badges

Hello!

I noticed that many of you have black VW badges front and rear, and that these badges are genuine VW parts.

I would like to replace my silver front grille badge for a black one, but my VW dealer is adamant that the part does not exist :? .

Does anyone have a part number that I can give ...

Hello!

I'm sorry if I sound a bit thick, but what does full beam H7/ fogs H3 mean? I don't have a lot of technical knowledge! :(

Anyway, I am hoping to change my sidelights aswell for exactly the same reason: they look really dull and yellow next to the xenons.

I see you mention Philips ...

Hi J.T.!

I have just joined this forum because I am in a very similar situation to you. My warranty is over and VW want to skin me just to have a look.

I just want to add a question to your appeal, if I may?

I have a very good performance tuning specialist near me. They charge less than VW and ...
