Re: 2002 Black Polo 9N-vRS special ed leathers *UPDTE* 3k

I'd be interested in the coilovers and possibly the seats if you do decide to put it back to standard :) Cool, I've got a lot of interest in the seats, but I will give anyone a shout who has contacted me, should the car go back to standard. BUMP. Car reduced to £3000 on standard alloys NO OFFERS AT...

SOLD PLEASE DELETE

Hi, for sale is my 3 door 2000 Polo GTI. It has done 92,600 miles and is in excellent condition. It has been well looked after, especially whilst I have owned it (had it for around 15 months). It is HPI clear and has just passed its MOT. I have also just given it another oil change a week or so ago ...

Re: factory spec camber

OKAY, i did have a full printout of the polo camber, toe caster specs etc. but i left it at the garage. what a doughnut. So the factor spec camber should be the range between -10 and -50, not 100% sure what unit that is.. degrees i asume. but overall the camber should be slightly negative. hope thi...

Re: Wheel/Tyre Storage

Dont think it matter whether they are inflated or not. I stored some alloys for 6 months in a shed without any problems. I just laid the first one on 2 pieces of wood so the air could circulate through them.

Re: BBS Colours

:D Yeah bottom one is mine, depends what colour car you have as to what colour wheels would suit it best. If i bought another gti in silver i would probably try bright green. I think blue and black look gash for bbs on gti's (sorry anyone who has this, just my opinion!)

Re: Steering Wheel "play"

Same here, assuming you dont have any play in the track rod ends, it will be just play in the steering wheel column shaft where it joins the rack. It is found under the plastic cover under the pedals. Theres no easy way to solve this. Interestingly the ibiza cupras around this age have a bolt throug...

Well not really, if you look at the graph the peak torque has gone down by 1 but it has increased all along the rev range.

Re: How slow are 1.0..

I had one as a coutesy car for a few days. It was pretty good lower down the rev range and under 50 ish but dont bother revving the t**s off it cos it wont move any faster. The worst thing about it was the handling! My god, ive never driven a car with as much roll and lack of 'feel' as that. My mums...

Re: Serious camber problem after fitting coilovers, pics included

I was told by a VW mechanic to use camber bolts which are basically thinner strut bolts to allow for more adjustment. Never looked into them though as my camber isnt too bad. Really? Thats very very scary advice... The bolts have to be done up to a pretty high torque given the imense sheer load the...

256 mm vented discs brand new, geniune VW!

Hi, i have for sale some VW 256 mm discs x 20 mm that were bought in error from the VW festival show. The stall owners said they would fit my GTI but they are 5 mm too thin :( I think they fit mk4 16v's, some mk5's, lupos and others but I'm not too sure. Part number is 6N0615301C http://i31.photobuc...
